Are you an enthusiastic front-end web developer eager to elevate your skills and work with a fast-growing, dynamic business? We’re on the lookout for a motivated individual to join our team, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining three dynamic websites (including two e-commerce stores) using platforms like WordPress, VueJS and WooCommerce. Working closely with our marketing and creative team, you’ll bring their vision and design concepts to life with your expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while embracing new challenges and opportunities for growth.
Our websites are constantly evolving as we continue to make changes to improve the user experience, so we are looking for someone who is proactive in making changes and providing design and development feedback. Ideas are welcome and encouraged in our business!

About the role
• As a front-end developer, you are responsible for building and maintaining features throughout our websites.
• Provide documentation and technical support for others in the team
• Integrate approved technologies to improve existing websites i.e. HubSpot, Google Analytics, internal systems etc.
• Perform code reviews and testing
• Working from home
Your skills and experience
– Demonstrated experience in a similar role
– Strong technical skills:
– WordPress/WooCommerce custom theme
– VueJS – Gridsome
– HTML and CSS (Bootstrap and Tailwind)
– Javascript / JQuery
– ACF Pro
– GraphQL
– An ability to write maintainable well tested solutions
– Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
– The ability to keep the customer front and centre when building new solutions
– Familiar with version management software e.g. Git
– Leverage mobile-first design and SEO best-practice
– Self-motivated is a must
– Strong time management skills
– User experience (UX) or web design experience very advantageous
Bonus Skills (not necessary)
– Experience with design technology software to assist in maintaining product datasheets
– 2D CAD drafting
– Publishing PDF data sheets with InDesign or similar
– Data management and excel skills
