Ultra Labs is a U.S.-based business incubator/accelerator that focuses on software/tech-based businesses. We are currently seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions in a variety of sectors.
As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our web applications, specializing in creating engaging and responsive user interfaces.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable and efficient solutions using React JS
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize applications for various devices.
Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
Participate in project planning sessions with project managers and team members to analyze business requirements
Optimize application performance, considering factors such as rendering, network requests, and overall user experience.
Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or identified during testing phases.
Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in frontend development to incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
Qualifications:
Excellent spoken and written English
3+ years of experience in frontend development with a focus on React JS
Strong proficiency in React JS, JavaScript and TypeScript
Experience with design collaboration tools, such as Figma
Experience with state management libraries/frameworks (e.g., Redux)
Understanding of build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, npm)
Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
Experience with testing frameworks and writing unit tests for frontend code
Knowledge of responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility
Awareness of accessibility standards and best practices in frontend development
Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently
Excellent time management skills and the ability to consistently meet deadlines
