Hi, this is Will – the Co-founder of Scale Messaging.

Please read this description carefully before you submit your application.

Join a team of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) specialists to create experiments on different websites, test new elements and find new winning versions.

MUST:
– Know about Browser APIs
– You have sufficient experience/knowledge of DOM manipulation
– You have sufficient experience/knowledge of core JS ~ ES6+, optional chaining, etc
– You have at least entry-level knowledge of Git/Hub
– You’re an expert in Javascript, HTML and CSS
– You have at least 3 years of front development experience
– You are an A Player, always striving to get better and do the best
– You can start work immediately
– You speak fluent English and can do video calls
– You have experience and a process to do QA

Nice to have:
– You have experience using FE frameworks (React, Vue, etc)
– You have experience using NodeJS
– You have experience in developing A/B tests (any platform)
– You can work in the Australian/ Asia/ European timezone
– You have development experience in Shopify
– You understand Regex and know how it works
– You have experience in using Figma and Asana
– You understand browser compatibility, and cross-browser issues and solutions
– You are interested in human behaviour and learning why some changes work/ don’t work

Your job in one sentence:
Your job is to code the changes base on the mockup you see in Figma in the given testing platform using JS, HTML and CSS.

What to expect:
– There will be a 2-week paid trial period during which we decide if we’re a fit
– Work anytime, anywhere as long you can be available during the timezone mentioned above
– Great culture to learn and advance as you work closely with the founders
– You will mainly be communicating with our designer (based in Europe) on calls and chats
– Occasionally, you’re responsible for deploying winning changes on our client’s website (mostly in their Shopify theme)
– Occasionally, you’re responsible for minor updates on our website
– Great opportunity to progress to a lead developer position
– Security and stability: Every dev team member has stayed for at least 1 year. If we’re a fit, this will be a long partnership
– We pay fortnightly and always on time
