Full Stack Developer – Contract (6 months +)

We are looking for a highly skilled full stack developer to work with our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to use their expertise and talent on existing and new projects.

We are a software company, specializing in software solutions for businesses that manage bookings and classes in the sports and leisure industries. We have been successfully operating for the past 15 years and are now seeking a committed, energetic and highly motivated individual to join our development team.

Essential skills:
– PHP/Laravel, JavaScript and MySQL/MariaDB.
– High personal code/development standards.
– Proficiency with payment gateway APIs.
– Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
– Experience of working in an Agile environment.
– Ability and interest in learning new technologies.
– Great attention to detail.

Other beneficial skills:
– ReactJS, jQuery, Bootstrap, VueJS, Angular.
– Experience with Smartphone app development.
– Linux server configuration.

Key tasks:
– Design, write, test and maintain code and documentation.
– Suggest, design and implement upgrades when appropriate.
– Liaise with office management, technical and support staff regularly.
– Maintain source software, including tracking and addressing bugs.
– Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
– Assist with software testing and quality assurance as required.

The candidate will work remotely and be liaising with staff in Melbourne, Australia so will be willing to work within Australian standard eastern time. The job will require the candidate to work 40hrs/week.
