My new AI software agency Pioneer Dev AI (/ ) is looking for a mid-level full stack engineer for a contract role that will start at about 10 hours a week with plenty of opportunity to grow hours as the business grows. If you have a full time job already and are looking for some supplemental income while working on some interesting projects, this could be the perfect role for you. Working hours are super flexible, you can work just about any time you want at your own pace.
A bit about Pioneer Dev AI: I only launched a week ago after leaving my job at and moving from San Francisco to Bacolod (I’m American) and we are fully remote. We specialize in building full stack AI solutions for clients around the world. There are currently two other part time engineers working for the agency and we are hoping to continue our growth.
Skills and experience required
* 4 years experience in Web Development using JavaScript and React
* 1 year experience using a server side rendered framework like or Remix
* 1 year experience using Typescript
* Knowledge of SQL and database concepts
* HTML, CSS
* Excellent communication abilities in English
* Bonus: experience with Python
* Bonus: experience developing AI applications such as using OpenAI
Ideal candidate profile:
You like coding for fun outside of work and actively build apps from scratch. You’re interested in AI and have built some apps using APIs such as OpenAI. You’re already gainfully employed but want to get paid to work cool AI full stack projects on the side.
What this job entails:
* Building full-stack apps (mostly Typescript) using APIs for AI platforms like OpenAI
* Working with an ML engineer to implement more sophisticated AI features
* Creating UXes on the front-end
* Building APIs and integrating with a database

Interview process:
1. If you are selected based on your email and resume, I will give you a short coding assignment which you can complete on your own time but it shouldn’t take more than an hour or two.
2. If you do well enough to advance, you will have a 45 minute long technical interview with me.
3. If you pass the technical interview, the job is yours.
