Job Description

Main focus:
-Maintain our HS (see below for project description)
-Maintain our HPS (see below for project description)
-Update web scraping logic when ’s template changes
-Develop and implement new features as requested by the management
-Document changes so developers can easily track the progress/updates
Programming Experience:
-Primary language PHP 8 and MySQL for database
-Must be experienced in using MVC Pattern frameworks (Laravel v9)
-Has expertise in Web Scraping, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, Javascript/JQuery programming, and Cross Browser compatibilities such as Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari, and mobile devices
-Must be experienced with GIT/Bitbucket including setting up repos on servers.
-Must be experienced in deploying the project on dedicated cloud servers without CPanel via SSH.
-Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics is a plus
-Ability to work with APIs is a must, (we use Sendgrid, Mandrill, Chargebee, google map API, Rackspace)
-A new junior coder will be added to the team within a few months, and must have the ability to guide and manage new coders.
-Is willing to learn new things and can easily be trained in other skills
-All applicants must include a link or files with their portfolio!
-If working from home can work from home without distractions
-Must be on Windows and using XAMPP for development
-Has an understanding in REST API
-Knowledgeable in Cron Jobs
Major IT Projects
-Liaise with DoS on new projects and website features.
-Ability to break down and write a detailed specification of tasks required to roll out new projects or features.
-Manage the progress and provide weekly updates on the progression of the project.

-Liason with our consultant SysAdmin on any server/database issues or upgrades required.
