OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Senior WordPress Developer to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining our WordPress-based websites and applications. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive expertise in both front-end and back-end development, demonstrate a keen eye for design, and be adept at solving complex problems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Website Development: Develop responsive, high-performance WordPress websites.
Custom Themes and Plugins: Create and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
Maintenance and Upgrades: Regularly update and maintain existing WordPress websites to ensure performance, security, and compatibility.
Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and other website-related problems.
Collaboration: Work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
Optimization: Implement best practices for SEO, site speed, and overall performance optimization.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and project specifications.
Communication: Respond to communications promptly and professionally. Communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams to gather requirements and provide updates. Liaise with external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and issues are resolved. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Proficient in WordPress: Deep understanding of WordPress core, themes, and plugin development.
HTML/CSS/[removed] Advanced skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
PHP/MySQL: Solid experience with PHP and MySQL for backend development.
RESTful APIs: Expertise in working with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
Version Control: Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
Design Tools: Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
SEO: Knowledge of SEO best practices.
Analytics: Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Integrations: Experience with e-commerce platforms and integrations. Understanding of web hosting environments and configurations.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in WordPress development, web development, or related technologies are a plus.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous WordPress projects.
TOOLS & SOFTWARE EXPERTISE
Development Tools: Experience with modern development tools such as Visual Studio Code, Webpack, and .
Database Management: Familiarity with database management tools like phpMyAdmin.
SEO Tools: Understanding of SEO tools like Yoast SEO or similar plugins.
Performance Monitoring: Use of performance monitoring and debugging tools.
