Position Overview: As a Full Stack Web Designer and Developer at Kristen Bertolini Designs, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and developing websites that defy convention. Key Responsibilities (Website Design):
In this role, you will:
– Create user-friendly website layouts that leave a lasting impression.
– Infuse websites with visual allure that perfectly aligns with brand identities.
– Seamlessly integrate graphics, multimedia content, and brand assets.
– Optimize websites for a variety of devices and screen sizes.
– Collaborate closely with content creators to bring brand content to life.
– Elevate user experience and brand representation through meticulous usability testing.
– Work hand-in-hand with developers to ensure flawless design implementation.
– Conduct thorough testing to ensure error-free, consistent website design.
– Maintain website design consistency in line with brand guidelines.
– Develop and nurture a consistent brand identity, encompassing logos, color schemes, typography, and other brand assets.
Key Responsibilities (Website Development):
In your role, you will also:
– Craft the structure (HTML) and styling (CSS) of web pages to deliver visual appeal and responsiveness across devices.
– Leverage JavaScript to infuse web pages with interactivity, handle user input, and create dynamic web experiences.
– Harness server-side programming skills in languages like Python, Ruby, , PHP, or Java to power website functionality.
– Manage databases (e.g., MySQL) with efficiency, ensuring seamless data storage and retrieval.
– Set up and configure web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx) to ensure secure hosting.
– Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., social media, payment gateways) to elevate website functionality.
– Conduct comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, and user testing, to identify and resolve issues.
– Design compelling, responsive landing pages and websites optimized for all devices.
– Prioritize speed and scalability while optimizing sites for top-notch performance.
– Implement basic SEO practices to enhance online visibility.
– Provide exceptional internal support and external customer service throughout the website build and launch process.
Requirements:
– Part-Time or Full Time Available
– Accessible communication via SLACK during standard Filipino (8am – 4pm) business hours, with flexibility for work outside those hours.
