Base Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
• Mastery of software engineering concepts and object-oriented development: Advanced knowledge of Java.
• Experience in implementing concepts of a modern software ecosystem: domain-driven design, microservices, APIs, streaming, Cloud technologies, real-time data flow, API/microservices orchestration.
• Knowledge of agile software development tools, source code management, and DevOps platforms (Jenkins, git-Bitbucket, Nexus, Docker, etc.).
• ‘You build it; You run it’ mindset.
• Must be able to work on multiple projects and be held accountable for one’s actions.
• Must keep a record log of all username, passwords
• Create a “how to manual” for other web developers on team
Responsibilities
• Design & implement distributed applications, enhance, and support existing systems
• Utilize strong object-oriented design (OOD), algorithms & programming skills to implement multi-tier distributed systems
• Work closely with internal, external clients and users to deliver solutions
• Will have the opportunity to participate in system integration efforts and requirements

Skills Required
• Strong programming skills in Java
• Familiarity with the Spring Framework
• Good working knowledge of Unix/Linux based systems, APIs and shell scripting
• Knowledge of distributed systems/algorithms, web services, and multi-threading
• Knowledge of Sybase or any RDBMS
• Good working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• A team player
• Must work using Agile methodologies and processes to maximize productivity and client satisfaction
The ideal candidate has:
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Minimum of 4 years in software development.
• Collegial degree or Bachelor in computer or Software Engineering.
• Excellent knowledge of PHP, SQL and MySQL.
• Excellent knowledge of the Laravel 5 framework.
• Excellent knowledge of 2 (or similar framework – Angular, React etc.)
• Good understanding of frontend principles and technologies (HTML5, CSS, ES6)
• Experience with dependency managers (composer, npm, etc.) and version control system (git)
• Excellent knowledge of software security.
Must be punctual. 40 hrs per week – 80 hours biweekly in a pay period.
9AM-5PM PH local time.
