Full Stack WordPress Developer

The Role

Skyrocket Marketing is an Australia white label development agency looking for a full-stack WordPress developer to add to our team to help deliver website projects to our agency partners. We pride ourselves on working flexibly, responsively and efficiently to deliver projects on budget and on time making the lives of our partners easier. This role is to be carried out virtually.

Responsibilities:

– Write SCSS, JavaScript, html, PHP and configure plugins to achieve requested functionality and matching to provided Figma designs.
– Setup WPRemote for site monitoring including review of sites and update vulnerabilities daily and general updates monthly
– Manage storing site credentials and relevant site information
– Review and address issues with website health and server configuration
– Review and address issues with Google page speed insights, achieving 90+ scores on mobile and desktop
– Content changes on sites with Elementor, ACF or Kadence blocks as the page structure
– Review plugin code to understand how best to implement functionality to maintain forward compatibility with future updates
– Work with git to collaborate with other developers and organise your own code
– Review site security and address concerns
– Review and address concerns with SEO audit tools like SEMRush and google search console
– Setup google tag manager container and Google analytics tags
– Work with postman and api documentation to put together and code integrations between platforms, WordPress and WordPress plugins.
– Comfortable setting up Node, NVM and Gulp build processes for projects

Requirements:

– Attendance at weekly kickoff and project updates meeting weekly
– Complete daily standup slack bot
– 2+ years of experience working as a full stack developer in an agency environment
– Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritise projects
– Accurate time tracking with Clickup
– Fast and accurate completion of tasks
– Strong attention to detail.
– Great & proven communication skills.
– Fantastic interpersonal skills.

Salary information

Salary is 45,000 php, with an increase to 55,000 php after completing a 3 month trial and an option to adjust starting time. We pay 13th month bonus and you take PHP public holidays off.
