Job Description

Must be able to work during US hours (PST timezone) – 8a.m. – 5p.m PST timezone. Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic and can provide a history of successful freelance working background.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for our company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

Responsibilities:

– Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling accounts
– Record financial transactions and ensure all entries are accurate and up-to-date in the general ledger
– Prepare and process payroll, including calculating and recording employee hours, deductions, and taxes
– Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including bank statements, financial reports, and receipts
– Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
– Prepare financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders
– Assist with year-end audits and tax filings
– Monitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to management
– Handle Outbound and Inbound Calling
– Answer and respond to phone calls, emails, and other correspondence in a timely and professional manner
– Schedule appointments and manage calendars
– Perform research and gather information as required
– Assist with special projects as needed
– Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:

– Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
– Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– High level of discretion and confidentiality regarding financial information
– Proven experience as a virtual assistant
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
– Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
– Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
– Availability to work during regular business hours
– High-speed internet connection and reliable computer
