We are a YouTube agency based in the United States that creates and grows YouTube channels for lawyers. That means we do all strategy, scripting, video editing, branding, graphic design, metadata, and posting for our clients.

We are looking for a full-time video editor to join our team who can make high-quality short-form (vertical) and long-form (horizontal) videos in After Effects (AE). We have been editing in AE for years and will teach you the processes and plugins we use. We also have branded motion graphic templates for our clients to ensure brand consistency.

However, just because we provide templates doesn’t mean you don’t need you to innovate! We need someone who has a good “design eye” and can make the videos more visually engaging than just sticking to the templates. Below is a reel with examples of the quality we expect:

Your job will include everything necessary to make professional YouTube videos, such as:

– Color grading
– Strategic trimming (understanding what to cut, what to include, and how to structure it for maximum engagement)
– Audio post production
– Finding footage and imagery that match our clients’ branding
– Laying out media
– Importing and using motion graphic templates
– Creating custom animations
– Using transitions

– Finding and editing appropriate music
– Finding and editing appropriate sound effects

Below is a list of requirements for the job, please read through it carefully before applying:

– Available full-time (at least 50 hours per week)
– Willing to work on weekends if necessary
– Available to start right away
– Advanced English proficiency
– Advanced After Effects skills: 3D, Rotoscoping, Masking, Motion tracking, Keying, Expressions
– Have a “Design eye”: ability to create and follow aesthetic branding guidelines
– Able to complete work quickly without compromising quality
– Highly responsive
– Professional, we work with serious businesses and need to take our work seriously
– Self-directed, you don’t require micromanaging
– Self-sufficient, good at solving your own problems
– Consistently able to hit ambitious deadlines

– Send examples of 2-5 videos from different projects that you have edited before, choose videos that you think best qualify you for this position. (DO NOT send your whole portfolio, we don’t want to wade through it. If you send your whole portfolio we will immediately skip your application.)
– Include references for previous employers/collaborators you are okay with us contacting.

Note that we will want you to complete a paid test and start on a per-project basis before transitioning to a full time salary.
