Full-Time Content Team Lead With Excellent Writing And Proofing Skills

Almost Illegal Ads (AIA) is a full-service search engine marketing agency specializing in PPC and SEO campaigns exclusively for law firms in the United States.

We are currently searching for FULL-TIME Content Leads with excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills to manage a team of writers and do some writing tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead a team of freelance writers and ensure all submitted content complies with AIA’s content guidelines.
2. Set up tasks and assignments as designated by the Content Supervisor or the Content Editor.
3. Proof and review writers’ submissions.
4. Ensure that deadlines are met.
5. Write articles when needed.
6. Undergo required training courses and sessions. (Paid)
7. Report to the Content Supervisor on the status of tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Excellent communication skills in American English, particularly in writing.
2. Experience or knowledge in legal research and writing with the ability to distinguish legal terms from their regular English counterparts. (Preferred but not required)
3. Experience or knowledge in SEO content best practices preferred but optional.
4. Willingness to learn new things, UNLEARN preconceived notions, and accept constructive feedback.
5. Had experience managing a team of writers and exhibiting people-centric leadership skills.
6. Driven, responsible, and HONEST. Take the job seriously and be passionate about producing high-quality content that provides relevant information while serving SEO purposes at the same time.

You take ownership of your tasks, strive to lead your team to produce the best possible output, and do not rely on the Editor or the Supervisor to maintain control of your team. And most importantly, you must account for your time correctly and honestly and do your job with minimal supervision.

Before being assigned to a team, you will undergo training, during which you write high-quality content using AIA’s content guidelines.

SALARY: 30k+/month
