Full-Time Marketing Assistant and Social Media Manager

We are hiring for a Full time Marketing Assistant and Social Media Manager for our growing company.

We are an educational digital business with an 800+ membership in the Crypto-Defi space, along with additional courses and programs in the online business building space. We are located in the Greater Vancouver area of Canada and currently have an awesome virtual team of 8.

In this high-paced position, you will work directly with our CEO. You must have experience and be efficient with YouTube, as well as design and video editing skills.

Hours & Pay:

-Working hours are all in PST (Pacific Standard Time)

-Hourly rate: Starts at $6.00 USD per hour

-8 hours a day, 5 days a week (Monday – Friday PST)
-40 hours per week
-Must be responsive on Slack Monday to Saturday 8am-4pm PST (Pacific Standard Time)
-The required tasks must be completed each week by the deadlines

Required responsibilities will include:
-Receiving raw unedited video content and editing to be released
-Creating and managing a YouTube release schedule
-Setting up YouTube videos (writing descriptions, tags, keywords, chapters etc.)
-Researching trending topics and keywords
-Designing thumbnails and graphics.
-Releasing 5 pieces of content every single day (pre-schedule for Sundays)
which includes: 3 YouTube videos, 1 YT Short, and 1 well written email to our email list announcing one of the YouTube Videos
-Content Idea Creation sessions with the CEO
-Editing long-form videos into shorts
-Answering all YouTube Comments
-Repurposing client wins in the community and on our social media channels.
-Where applicable, will release and repurpose short-form videos on our other channels (Instagram, TikTok, X, and Facebook).

-Proficient with Youtube (required)
-Excellent written English skills

-Excellent at graphic design
-Excellent at video editing
-Experience with Instagram, Tik Tok, X and Facebook
-Excels working independently and with a team
-Advanced computer skills/knows how to troubleshoot issues
-Quick learner
-High internet speed with backup options.
