State of Hawaii (Remote, Morning Shift – Philippines Time)

Are you a skilled and detail-oriented Real Estate Bookkeeper looking for an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team? We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our remote team for the morning shift (Philippines time) to support our real estate operations in the State of Hawaii.

Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for real estate transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries including personal finances as an independent contractor.

Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.

Expense Tracking: Monitor and track real estate-related expenses, ensuring proper categorization and allocation.

Financial Reporting: Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, to provide insights for decision-making.

Budgeting: Assist in the development and management of budgets for real estate projects.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and state regulations related to real estate financial transactions.

Collaboration: Work closely with the real estate team, providing financial insights and support as needed.

Requirements:

Proven Experience: Minimum of at least 2 years of experience as a Real Estate Bookkeeper.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Knowledge: At least an idea/familiarity with real estate financial processes, regulations, and industry-specific software (e.g., QuickBooks (tools we use).

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

Tech-savvy: Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Working Hours:

This is a morning shift position aligned with the business hours of the State of Hawaii, accommodating the Philippines time zone. 3-11 AM MNL.
