Full-Time Social Media Manager

Job Title: Social Media Content Manager

We are seeking a highly organised and creative Social Media Content Manager to join our team which organises wedding exhibitions across Australia. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building brand image and engaging with like-minded businesses through social media platforms.

Shift hours: 7am – 4pm (1 hour lunch break)
2 weeks paid vacation leave + sick leave and public holidays (QLD Australia observed holidays)

Responsibilities:

Post daily updates on Facebook and Instagram for HWFE and WEA
Create and manage vendor contacts and post event updates on Facebook
Engage with WEA/HWFE clients through Facebook and Instagram, including liking and commenting on their pages
Follow new bookings and vendor enquiries on Facebook and Instagram
Tag and write descriptions for expo photos on Facebook
Search for new vendors to add to the MC List for database growth
Respond to all Facebook and Instagram messages within the same day or the following Monday
Engage with past vendors and like/comment on their Facebook or Instagram pages
Manage and update Facebook events, including adding expo images
Join industry-related groups on Facebook and post updates and comments
Post daily photos on Instagram from expos
Increase follower numbers by daily engagement and follow back on Instagram
Manage and update the Google Business Page, including adding WEA and HWFE events
Pin daily updates on Pinterest for WEA and HWFE and follow/comment on other wedding/health businesses
Record leads for all new enquiries from any source and add expo events to various platforms
Provide customer service through social media, email, and eventbrite platforms
Post updates on Facebook for TNWD and ensure all settings and contact details are correct
Follow the sales process for potential vendors and attendees, including sending welcome emails and creating new listings
Add new bookings to WWBT on the same day of booking

Requirements:

Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Google Business
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Passion for social media and building brand image
