A PURPOSE-BASED BUSINESS
I am a business attorney. I believe it is time for a change in the way the law supports people—in life and in business. I am working to provide actionable knowledge to empower people to run their own businesses and avoid legal problems. One way I do this is by posting educational legal videos online. Helping people in need is an important part of my Christian faith, which motivates everything I do. I believe it is important to use the knowledge and skills we have to educate and empower others. RESPONSIBILITIES
In the first year, your job will involve
+ posting videos I have created to social media
+ creating thumbnails for videos
+ writing video descriptions
+ helping me with related tasks
TRAINING
You will be trained in all aspects of the job. You don’t need to know this software, but some tools we will use are YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Kajabi, Google Chrome, Google Drive, Canva, Descript, LastPass, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads. I can teach you how to use these.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
+ Spelling and Grammar: This position requires that you are fluent in writing in United States English. For example, sometimes you will need to rephrase what I have written into fewer words. I need to be able to rely on your perfect English because what you will publish represents me and nobody will proofread what you wrote.
+ Camtasia: Edit videos and screen recordings for posting on Youtube and social media. See our YouTube channel for examples.
+ Proofreading: Use your fluency in United States English to proofread and correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation (including colons, semi-colons, parentheses, quotation marks, dialogue, headings, etc.) in video transcriptions and blog posts.
