Full Time Structural Engineer

Hi there!

We’re looking for a full time Structural Engineer who has experience in wood construction.

The Structural Engineer serves as a key role for our clients and our team. Whether it be Entry Level, or a Team Lead, our clients rely on us to provide sound, constructable designs for our clients. Our Engineers are the backbone of our company as they provide the key criteria that a home will be constructed to. Our Entry Level Engineers are special to the growth of our company as we train you to become an expert in the field of Residential Construction. Our Engineering is primarily of light-framed wood construction. We will receive requests for concrete, steel, ICF, and CMU construction elements, these are typically secondary to wood construction.

We need someone who has experience in the following:
– Woodworks [Lateral Analysis Program]
– General Understanding of Wood Construction, Design and Codes
– Entry Level Knowledge of Concrete, Steel, and CMU Construction, Design and Codes
– Basic use of Microsoft Suite Programs (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
– HubSpot [Project Management Software]
– Bluebeam [PDF Modifier, Similar to Adobe]
– Forte/Enercalc [Vertical Design Software]

Responsibilities:
• Support of Engineering Team Lead
• Engineering/Redlines for new structures, primarily wood framed residential
• Assists in developing templates and processes to streamline project issuance and task completion.
• Assists company in improving client experience.
