Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and talented Video Editor who specializes in DaVinci Resolve to join our team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating captivating and professional videos that align with our brand and meet our clients’ requirements.

Responsibilities:

Edit and enhance raw video footage using DaVinci Resolve, ensuring high-quality, visually appealing final products.
Collaborate closely with the creative team to understand project requirements and deliver outstanding video edits that meet client expectations.
Trim and rearrange footage to create seamless transitions and flow within the video.
Add visual effects, color grading, and audio enhancements to enhance the overall quality of the video.
Edit and sync audio files to ensure clear and synchronized sound in the final product.
Utilize DaVinci Resolve’s advanced features and tools to achieve the desired visual style and effects.
Stay up-to-date with the latest editing techniques, software updates, and industry trends to consistently deliver cutting-edge video edits.
Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
Collaborate effectively with the production team, providing input and suggestions to enhance the overall video production process.
Maintain organized project files and adhere to file management protocols to ensure efficient workflow and easy access to assets.
Continue the learning process via provided training material
Requirements:
Shift hours 8am-3pm EST
Proven work experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in using DaVinci Resolve.
Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, with an in-depth understanding of its features, tools, and workflows.
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with the team and clients.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate and precise video edits.
Strong creative and storytelling skills, with the ability to transform raw footage into visually appealing, engaging videos.
Solid understanding of color grading, visual effects, and audio editing.
Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and take feedback constructively.
Experience working in a remote environment and using project management tools for efficient communication and workflow coordination.
High-speed internet connection and a reliable computer system capable of handling video editing tasks.
Familiarity with other video editing software and plugins is a plus.
