Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor with experience in editing wedding videos using DaVinci Resolve. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality wedding videos that capture the essence of our clients’ special day. They must have experience in using DaVinci Resolve software to edit, color grade, and add visual effects to the footage.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients and other team members to understand their vision for the final product.
Edit and organize footage to create a compelling wedding video that captures the special moments of the day.
Utilize DaVinci Resolve software to color grade footage and add visual effects to enhance the final product.
Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects at the same time.
Work closely with other team members to ensure the final product meets the client’s expectations.
Continuously improve their skills by staying up to date with industry trends and new editing techniques.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio showcasing wedding videos edited using DaVinci Resolve.
Strong knowledge of DaVinci Resolve software and its features, including color grading and visual effects.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
A creative and artistic eye for editing, with the ability to tell a story through visuals and audio.
Experience in using other video editing software is a plus.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in film, video production, or a related field is preferred.
1-3+ years of experience in video editing, preferably with a focus on wedding videos and DaVinci Resolve software.
