Full-Time YouTube Video Editor for Automotive Channel

We’re actively seeking a committed video editor for two dynamic roles:

Creating compelling POV car review videos for our YouTube audience.
Adapting our engaging content for vibrant communities on Instagram and TikTok. If you’re passionate about automotive content and eager to elevate your editing prowess, we want to connect with you!
This position averages around 30 hours per week.

You’ll collaborate closely with me and our team, including social media managers and fellow editors. We highly prioritize qualities such as attention to detail, thoroughness, strong communication skills, integrity, organizational ability, and precision. Timeliness is also paramount to us. JOB REQUIREMENTS
– Focused on details, articulate, and capable of following directions;
– Trustworthy and responsible. Be consistent in actions and words;
– Creative and organized, with an ability to independently solve problems;
– Proficient with Final Cut or Adobe editing suite;
– High-performance computer (suitable for editing 4K footage);
– High-speed internet connection;
– Skilled in color correction and grading;
– Experienced in Photoshop (for creating thumbnails).

MY WORKFLOW
1. I will provide video and separate audio files. Check out the Jubbal & Cars YouTube channel to understand the format;
2. Videos are unscripted, shot with a GoPro (head-mounted) and an iPhone for B-roll, with audio recorded on a separate DR10L device;
3. Submit a polished, YouTube-ready first draft, including color correction, cuts, transitions, text, B-roll, and three thumbnail options;
4. I’ll review the first draft and thumbnails, and usually, the second draft is ready for YouTube publication. A third draft may sometimes be needed;
5. Our team will handle YouTube uploading and publishing.

The same principles apply to editing Jubbal & Cars YouTube content. Repurposing older content involves tasks like vertical cropping, adding captions, and fitting within a 60-second format.

You’ll receive thorough guidance on style and expectations initially to ensure a strong start. As you gain experience, you’ll have more freedom to make creative decisions that highlight your skills.
