DyCom SmartStaff is looking for a Full Time remote Senior Accountant who is a critical role in our business growth, culture, and operations.

The Senior Accountant will work across DyCom SmartStaff and its clients to carry out the following responsibilities:
– Manage the end-to-end accounting process using Reckon QuickBooks (Account Hosted version), including the month-end – – closing of multiple entities and preparing financial reports in collaboration with the Operations Manager
– Perform Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations to identify errors and unusual transactions
– Handle the preparation of payroll for Philippine Employees & Contractors
– Manage day-to-day finance functions such as invoicing, processing of bills, etc.
– Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts and payment portals
– Handle day-to-day communications with the client and other stakeholders
– Preparation of fortnightly financial reports through a reporting and analysis tool – Microsoft
– Excel / PowerPoint Presentation for use by senior management
– Work closely with the CEO and perform accounting support/tasks as required, such as client pricing, employee appraisal, supplier costing, and other projects that may be assigned to you by Management
– Prepare budgets and forecasts and analyses, revenue and cost trends for Management
– Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and anomalies, and interpret the results thereof
– Liaise with our Tax Consultant in the Philippines for the Filing of relevant BIR forms
– Perform bookkeeping activities
– Assist the with Financial Paraplanning
Qualifications and Characteristics Required:
– Leadership attributes with good decision-making skills
– Proactive and has the initiative in terms of looking for ways to make his assigned tasks processes more efficient
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
– Result and solutions-oriented
– Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
– Minimum 3 years experience as an accountant or bookkeeper in a corporate setting
– Experience with audits, budget creation, and expense reports is strongly preferred
– Corporate and personal tax experience is a plus
– Familiarity with Australian business accounting is a plus
– Can start ASAP
