In recent years, we have expanded our tutoring services to other Canadian provinces including Ontario, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.
We deliver flexible and personalized tutoring programs in the comfort of a student’s home. We specialize in all subject areas and cater to all students and all grade levels from Pre-K to University level. We are currently seeking to hire an intern to support our tutor recruitment and customer service efforts.

JOB DESCRIPTION

HR Duties:
Streamline the recruitment process and provide oversight across the company
Conduct recruitment activities for tutoring positions in close co-ordination with CEO and HR Team including job postings & interview guides, shortlist candidates for interviews, participate in interviews, conduct reference checks, and prepare offer letters and other hiring materials.
Coordinate with HR Manager to identify staffing needs
Assist HR team with hiring of and training new tutors to support Mobile Tutors marketplace launch in the fall.
Assist with drafting of business operating manuals, tutor training manuals, and marketing brochures.
Deliver high-quality support across multiple customer service platforms (email, chat, phone, text, webinar)
Answer the phone, respond to emails, engage with website visitors via the live chat.
Take on other roles, assignments, and duties as assigned.

Social Media duties:
Create Social Media Posts: Design and schedule various social media posts to bolster our online presence.
Managing the maintenance of marketing distribution tools (Adding and filtering contacts periodically)
Manage the distribution of e-blasts and direct mail
Coordinate direct marketing and other advertising sources, such as: print and online
Build Flyers: Design and create marketing flyers for various promotions
Assist with other daily tasks as required.

Skills, Knowledge and Education Requirements
Post-secondary education
Ability to work remotely from home in a quiet and conducive environment with less distractions.
Must have access to a reliable computer device and cell phone with access to high-speed internet connection
Fluency in oral and written English.
Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
A proven ability to develop trust and relationships quickly
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Demonstrated strong interpersonal and influencing skills
Must have strong organizational and time management skills
Must be able to adapt and prioritize, meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced environment
Must have a professional yet personable demeanor
Must be able to work well independently with an ability to work collaboratively with others
Must be detail oriented
Must be proactive and take initiative
Must be able to maintain confidentiality, utilize judgment, and work with minimal supervision
Proficiency with all applicable software packages including but not limited to MS Windows; MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CANVA.
Experience managing a client database system is a definite asset
Experience with social media

What you can expect!

Flexible work schedule from Monday to Friday.
Working hours – 6 hours per day
A monthly salary CAN $500
Comprehensive training on Mobile Tutors system
