Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Employee Relations Manager to join our team. The Employee Relations Manager will play a critical role in fostering a positive and productive work environment by effectively managing employee relations, performance, and development. This role requires strong leadership abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of HR best practices.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of employee relations, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
Partner with department managers to identify staffing needs and facilitate the recruitment and onboarding process for new hires.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback and coaching to employees to support their professional growth and development.
Address employee grievances and concerns in a timely and confidential manner, working to resolve issues and maintain positive working relationships.
Collaborate with the HR team to administer employee benefits programs, manage payroll, and ensure compliance with all employment-related regulations.
Lead training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR management and implement innovative strategies to optimize employee engagement and retention.
Serve as a trusted advisor to employees, offering guidance and support on a wide range of HR-related matters.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
years of experience in HR management, with a focus on employee relations and performance management.
Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance in all HR practices and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels of the organization.
Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their full potential.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively address and resolve employee issues and conflicts.
High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information.
Proficiency in HRIS and other HR management software tools.
SHRM certification (preferred).
