Job Description

We are urgently looking for an experienced General Manager to manage the organization’s projects particularly in the events industry.

As our General Manager, your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Job Requirements:

• 3-5+ years’ of work experience in Project Management.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Willing to work in the US Pacific Time zone.
• Can work full time work (8 hours per day).
• With relevant experience in the events industry, particularly in the wedding space, is a plus but not required.
• With experience using project management tools like Notion is a plus.

• Personally owned laptop or desktop of no less than 8 GB RAM.
• A minimum Intel Core i5 processor or equivalent and a solid-state drive (SSD) as the main storage.
• Extra laptop or desktop as backup equipment
• Stable wired internet connection of no less than 50 Mbps
• Extra internet connection of no less than 30 Mbps as back-up
• Has access to coffee shops or co-working spaces in case of an electrical outage or interruption
• Noise-free office workstation
• Noise-canceling headset
