About the job:
We are looking for an extremely detail-oriented Transcriptionist to join our growing company. You will be listening to audio files/call and meeting recordings and type the contents into digital documents or convert them into text format. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter and have excellent listening and typing skills.
We would like you to start with a part-time role (approximately 20 hours per week, CST hours). If you can show growth and success, we’d like to move on to a full-time role.
Responsibilities:
Listen to offline meeting recordings and transcribe those to call notes summary
Transcribe the call and translate into a detailed call notes for internal use
Ensure accuracy of the transcribed text
Understand details of client requirements regarding formatting and notation
Complete transcriptions in a timely manner, reviewing grammar, removing fillers, punctuation and spelling prior to submission
Understand the meeting and effectively draw action items
Correct any errors or inaccuracies in a timely manner
Assist in creating Figma Design proposals
Deliver other related notetaking tasks as assigned
Manage support tickets/Asana ticketing system.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to type quickly and accurately while proofreading
Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
Excellent verbal communication, listening, and computer skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Ability to work with a variety of people and personalities
Familiarity with Google Suite, Asana
High school diploma or equivalent
Fluency in English
Knowledge and experience in Figma Design is an absolute PLUS!
