LatestBuy is a B2C retailer based in Australia that offers a wide range of products across various categories, including electronics, gadgets, home and kitchen, lifestyle, gifts, and more, to a global audience.
As a General Virtual Assistant at LatestBuy, your primary responsibility is to use Microsoft Excel to manage and track information related to product batches. It involves creating and maintaining spreadsheets that contain details about different batches of products, including their product details, categories, images, and any other relevant data.
Key Duties:
-Product batches in Excel work
*Research product details and images.
*Categorization of products in various international marketplaces.
*Optimized naming of products following marketplace convention.
*Detailed checking of file and images before initial submission.
-Perform product image editing tasks using software such as Adobe Photoshop.
-Conduct quality checks on all products listed on websites and marketplaces.
-Revise any incorrect product information on websites and marketplaces.
-Keep track of the active item counts across marketplaces and make sure that items match.
-Inputting and organizing data, maintaining databases, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
-Organizing and maintaining files and records and conducting research and compiling data for various projects.
-Conducting online research on various topics, gathering data, and summarizing findings to support decision-making processes.
-Creating and editing documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and other business-related materials.
-Undertaking ad hoc tasks as assigned, which may include transcription, proofreading, invoicing, or other administrative duties.
Skills and Qualifications:
-Microsoft Office literate particularly with Excel/Spreadsheets.
-Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
-Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal team members and customers.
-Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while working on repetitive tasks.
-Must be flexible and willing to do other related tasks.
-Ability to self-troubleshoot, detect, and correct one’s own mistakes.
-Proficient in using various software and tools such as Microsoft Office, and project management tools.
-Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to find solutions to complex issues.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business administration, marketing, or communications.
-Experience working as a virtual assistant or in a similar administrative or customer service role.
-Familiarity with various marketplaces and their processes, including Amazon, eBay, and Shopify.
-Fluency in English language.
