Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented General Virtual Assistant (GVA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree and be skilled in administration, communication, fundraising, and gift management. The GVA will play a crucial role in supporting the overall operations of our organization, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Administration:

Manage board communication, including meeting preparation, agenda creation, and material organization.
Manage volunteers through recruitment, tracking, and appreciation initiatives.
Organize and streamline company logistics to maintain smooth operations.
Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to improve overall efficiency.

Communication:

Manage communication channels, including email marketing, social media, and website updates.
Support media relations, including researching reporters and distributing press releases.
Manage print collateral, ensuring brand consistency and quality.
Respond to emails, ensuring timely and appropriate communication.

Fundraising:

Manage fundraising plans, campaigns, and appeals.
Coordinate donor outreach and prepare appeal letters.
Manage grants calendar and organize grant documents.
Assist in event planning and execution, including promotion, registration, and support.
Fill out grant applications based on the provided information.

Gift Management:

Track donations and maintain accurate records in CRM.
Thank donors with personalized acknowledgments.
Welcome new donors and ensure they receive a warm introduction to the organization.
Maximize the use of CRM for improved tracking and donor engagement.

Requirements:

Associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in a relevant field.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in managing multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail.
Experience with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and social media management.
Fundraising and event planning experience is a plus.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
