Job Description

I am looking to hire a part-time General Virtual Assistant to help me with various back-office administration tasks for a fun, family-run, and growing US-based financial planning firm.

The General Virtual Assistant (“VA”) may work during their preferred hours but must plan on having at least an hour of overlap with my schedule—I typically work from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Mountain Time (11:00 pm to 5:00 am Philippine Time). The VA will work closely with me in handling a variety of recurring and random tasks.

Specifically, I am looking for someone with EXCELLENT organizational skills and great attention to detail who can perform the following tasks:

– Re-ordering pages in PDF files
– Renaming files
– Sorting documents
– Working with Google Docs, Google Sheets, Adobe files, etc.
– Filling out paperwork for clients
– Searching for and updating client information
– And more!

REQUIREMENTS: The following skills and characteristics are required:

– Excellent organizational skills
– Comfortable using software (ex. Adobe Acrobat Pro, Slack, Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, ClickUp)
– Honest and hardworking
– Fast learner

Works well with others
– Not afraid to ask questions and provide feedback to improve processes
– At least two (2) years of previous experience working as a General Virtual Assistant or in a similar role

This job is not for companies or those who have never worked online before.

DESIRED HOURLY RATE: $6 per hour (raises will be given every 6 months).

EVALUATION PERIOD: There will be a 21-day evaluation period. Upon successful completion of the evaluation period, all benefits will be available to you. (You will be paid for all the hours worked during the evaluation period.)

BENEFITS:

– We pay a 13th month bonus (prorated on your first year, then equal to the average of one month’s pay thereafter).
– You can also request time off and/or vacation time as needed (you get 3 days paid time off credits per quarter).
– We also provide HMO/health insurance reimbursement.

LOCATION PREFERENCE: Anywhere in the Philippines

HOURS PER WEEK: 20-30 hours per week (Monday through Friday). Working on weekends is never required.

WORKING HOURS: Generally, you can work your preferred hours provided that you have at least one hour of overlap with my work schedule, which is from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Mountain Time (Philippine Time: 11:00 pm to 5:00 am).

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Salary will be paid via Wise (formerly TransferWise) every 2 weeks. This job requires a high-speed internet connection (at least 20mbps).

You are expected to work from your own home.

You need to have your own computer that runs well and has good memory and processing power.

Our team uses Hubstaff to track time.
