Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Prepare detailed geotechnical engineering reports, incorporating findings, analysis, and recommendations for foundation design, slope stability, earthwork, and retaining structures, considering all groundworks aspects.
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the design, construction, and operation phases of projects, ensuring all in-ground works adhere to geotechnical specifications and best practices.
Collaborate closely with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations governing groundworks.
Actively participate in interdisciplinary project teams to address geotechnical challenges and optimize project outcomes, particularly concerning all in-ground works.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and advancements in geotechnical engineering technology, integrating new methodologies and technologies into project workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in geotechnical engineering technology.
Education And Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, or a related field.
Proven work experience as a Geotechnical Engineer.
Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles, including soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical analysis methods.
Knowledgeable with geotechnical software and tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Experience with project management and client interaction is desirable.
