JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a creative and skilled Web Designer who will help create visual concepts that will communicate ideas that inspire, inform, captivate and impact our clients. The ideal candidate should have passion, enthusiasm and dedication to create usable and aesthetically pleasing graphics and web within concrete specifications. Additionally, the role of the Web Designer is to understand the right balance between business, design, and our client while serving the brand’s purpose, business mission and client needs. As a Web Designer, you will be required to undertake a variety of tasks but not limited to; creating, testing and improving the design of the website.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Conceptualize original design ideas that bring stylish visual balance to brands, through clean and artistic designs
Create mock-ups or wireframes for web pages for the client’s approval
Execute all visual design stages from concept to designing, up to client turn-over
Establish design standards and best practices
Produce artistry that can create experiences clients can interact with
Work closely with the client to determine website specifications and collaborate on its overall design and aesthetic
Ensure that images are correctly formatted and optimized for mobile and desktop web browsers
Meeting with the design and marketing team to review website templates or refine the designs and run tests to preview layouts and website features
Work with developers to implement visual elements of websites
Fix any functionality issues
Research and assess new design trends
Perform relevant tasks as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Must have at least 1-3 years of experience as a Web Designer or Developer
Demonstrable web design skills with a strong portfolio of work (Portfolio required)
Proficient with Wix and WordPress
Familiar with InVision and Editor X
Familiar with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Must have an SEO knowledge
In-home office setup including Mac or PC Computer (including webcam for team meetings) with minimum 1.0ghz dual-core processor, at least 16GB of RAM, and the most recent version of MS Office installed
A fast and reliable internet connection with a backup internet source
Strong eye for visual design and composition
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient
Extremely self-motivated with strong time management
Must be good at interpersonal communication and must have good writing skills (English required)
Must be focused on keeping business owners organized and supported in their role
Must be able to assist and act in a confidential capacity
Must be a “go-getter” and a self-motivated individual
Trustworthy and reliable
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet or beat deadlines with less to no errors
Tech-savvy and quick to learn new concepts
Ability to anticipate the needs of others
