PPC Specialist for Australian Digital Marketing Agency
Position Mission
To optimise and improve Google Ads for clients of an Australian Digital Marketing Agency. You will need to work within our existing client fulfillment system to optimise and improve campaign performance, as well as create and execute new campaigns and PPC strategies.
It will be expected you have the knowledge to setup, create and run the entire PPC process. We have a large base of SEO clients, however our PPC clients are still very valuable to us. We have approximately 30 clients on Google Ads. They are all small B2C service based businesses in Australia with budgets from $500 to $4,000 per month.
Whilst 90% of the role is Google search ads, there is approximately 10% which is Facebook Ads.
You will be part of a friendly and connected team who communicate daily and collaborate on client campaigns and projects frequently. This role has the opportunity to grow with the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Create and improve campaign performance across Google Ads and FB Ads channels
Determine and implement strategies across new and existing campaigns
Manage day-to-day activities of campaigns: including the campaign planning, implementation, budget management, performance review, and optimisation of PPC campaigns.
Contribute to monthly reports on campaign performance
Keyword research (discovery and expansion), review and editing of ad copy, review and analysis of web site performance metrics, and optimisation for Google Ads campaigns.
Develop near and long-term PPC account strategies, roadmaps and execute day-to-day tactics that increase revenue, site traffic, conversion, and margins
Drive continued innovation and best practice implementation. We will assist in funding your training to stay ahead of the rest of the PPC industry.
Stay current with new advances in online marketing, competitive landscape, and keyword research.
Non-Negotiables
Minimum 3 years experience with doing Google Ads for B2C service businesses
Strong understanding of Google Ads and Facebook Ads
Proficiency with Google sheets and docs.
Very good written and verbal communication skills
Passionate about PPC and the digital space.
Able to determine what makes a good landing page, and what makes a poor landing page
Experience with WordPress
Available full-time Monday-Friday between the hours 8:30am-5:00pm AEST
Organisation and self-discipline. We are a remote working digital marketing agency, so organisation and self-discipline are must have skills
Adaptability. Able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions.
A Day In The Life
As the PPC Manager, a typical day might include the following:
Reviewing PPC campaign performance and providing recommendations for campaign improvement
Implementing new strategies and completing campaign optimisations
Conducting campaign research to plan and execute new PPC campaigns
Attending a Daily Huddle meeting with the team
Attending the weekly KPI Check-In meeting to provide updates on client campaigns
Setting up conversion tracking for a campaign
Liaising with the team on a new landing page design for a clients campaign
Industry research and training
