Job Description

As a Google Ads Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns on Google Ads.

Your primary focus will be to drive targeted traffic, increase conversions, and maximize return on ad spend (ROAS) for our clients or company.

This role requires a strong understanding of Google Ads, keyword research, campaign creation and management, ad copywriting, A/B testing, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Google Ads campaign management: Create, optimize, and manage Google Ads campaigns across various platforms such as search, display, shopping, and video. Develop strategies for campaign structure, targeting, bidding, and budget allocation to achieve client/company objectives.
2. Keyword research and targeting: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant search terms and phrases for optimal campaign performance. Implement effective keyword targeting strategies, including match types, negative keywords, and keyword expansion.
3. Ad copywriting and optimization: Write compelling ad copy that aligns with campaign goals and target audience. Continuously test and optimize ad creatives, headlines, descriptions, and extensions to improve click-through rates (CTR) and conversion rates.
4. Landing page optimization: Collaborate with the web development or design team to ensure landing pages are optimized for conversions and provide a seamless user experience. Conduct A/B tests on landing page elements, layouts, and calls-to-action (CTAs) to improve campaign performance.
5. Performance tracking and analysis: Monitor campaign performance using Google Ads and other analytics tools. Analyze key metrics such as impressions, clicks, conversions, cost per conversion, and ROAS. Identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement to enhance campaign performance.
6. Conversion tracking and reporting: Set up conversion tracking mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. Generate regular reports on campaign performance, providing insights, recommendations, and actionable strategies to clients or internal stakeholders.
7. Budget management and optimization: Monitor campaign budgets and expenditures to ensure optimal allocation of resources. Make data-driven decisions to optimize bids, adjust budgets, and maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of ad spend.
8. Stay updated with industry trends: Stay abreast of the latest developments in PPC advertising, Google Ads features, best practices, and industry trends. Continuously enhance knowledge and skills through certifications, training, and self-study.

Qualifications and Skills:
1. Proven experience as a Google Ads Specialist or similar role, managing PPC campaigns on Google Ads. 2. In-depth knowledge of Google Ads platforms, features, and campaign management best practices.
3. Strong understanding of keyword research, targeting, and bid management strategies.
4. Proficiency in creating and optimizing ad copy for different campaign types.
5. Experience with conversion tracking, analytics tools, and reporting on campaign performance.
6. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns.
7. Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and landing page optimization techniques.
8. Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate with clients or internal stakeholders.
9. Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
