Job Description:
As a Google Ads Specialist at our digital marketing agency, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing Google Ads campaigns for our small business clients with advertising spend ranging from $2000 to $10,000 per month. Your role will involve working closely with our clients to understand their business objectives and develop effective advertising strategies to maximize their return on investment (ROI). You will leverage your expertise in Google Ads to create, monitor, and optimize campaigns that drive traffic, conversions, and revenue for our clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Campaign Strategy Development: Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, target audience, and competitive landscape. Develop comprehensive Google Ads strategies aligned with their objectives.
2. Campaign Setup and Execution: Create Google Ads campaigns, including keyword research, ad copywriting, ad extensions, and landing page recommendations. Implement tracking and conversion codes for accurate campaign performance measurement.
3. Campaign Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, such as click-through rates (CTRs), conversion rates, and cost per acquisition (CPA). Identify areas for improvement and implement optimization tactics to increase campaign efficiency and ROI.
4. Keyword Research: Conduct extensive keyword research to identify relevant keywords and search terms that align with client objectives. Continually refine keyword lists based on performance data and industry trends.
5. Ad Copywriting and Testing: Write compelling ad copy that resonates with the target audience and drives clicks and conversions. Conduct A/B testing of ad variations to improve ad performance.
6. Budget Management: Effectively manage advertising budgets for multiple clients, ensuring optimal allocation and maximum ROI. Monitor spend levels and make budget recommendations based on performance.
7. Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on campaign performance and provide insightful analysis to clients. Communicate results, trends, and recommendations effectively, both written and verbally.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Google Ads Specialist or similar role, with a focus on B2B/B2C campaigns for small businesses.
– In-depth knowledge of Google Ads platform, including Google Ads Editor, keyword planning tools, ad formats, and bidding strategies.
– Familiarity with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools for campaign performance tracking and analysis.
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
– Proactive and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and meet deadlines.
– Certifications such as Google Ads certification or Google Analytics certification are a plus.
