At Silicon Valley Commerce LLC, the Google Ads Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving customer/client acquisition. We need someone who can run ads for our agency services, ideally has some Amazon/ecommerce experience. The specialist is primarily responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing advertising campaigns on Google Ads, ensuring that our services reach the right audience in the most effective manner. Through strategic planning, execution, and data-driven adjustments, they maximize conversions and ensure optimal ROI.
Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy and Planning:
– Collaborate with clients or internal stakeholders to understand their advertising goals, target audience, and budget.
– Conduct thorough keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for campaign optimization.
– Develop comprehensive Google Ads campaign strategies, including ad copy, bidding strategies, and targeting options.
Campaign Creation and Management:
– Set up and configure Google Ads campaigns, including ad groups, keywords, ad extensions, etc.
– Write compelling ad copy and create relevant landing pages to improve ad quality and maximize click-through rates (CTR).
– Monitor campaign performance, including click-through rates, conversion rates, and cost-per-conversion, and make adjustments as necessary.
– Optimize campaign settings, such as bid adjustments, ad scheduling, and targeting options, to improve performance and meet campaign objectives.
– Conduct A/B testing on ads and landing pages to identify the most effective strategies for conversion optimization.
– Regularly analyze campaign data and provide detailed reports to clients or internal stakeholders, highlighting key performance metrics and recommendations for improvement.
Budget Management and ROI Analysis:
– Monitor campaign budgets and adjust bidding strategies to ensure efficient allocation of ad spend.
– Analyze return on investment (ROI) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate campaign success and make data-driven decisions.
– Provide insights and recommendations on budget allocation and campaign optimization to maximize ROI and meet client objectives.
Continuous Learning and Team Collaboration:
– Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and algorithm updates related to Google Ads.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as designers, developers, and marketing managers, to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with overall marketing strategies.
Qualification
– Able to demonstrate with 3-4 years of experience with Google advertising platforms
– Familiarity with platform analytics and ad management tools
– Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
– Prior experience working with services agencies
– In-depth knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising (formerly Bing Ads), and Google Analytics
– An understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM)
– Proven experience in managing Google ad campaigns
– Monthly budget management
– Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads Editor, Google Tag Manager, and other ad tech tools
– Proficiency with SEO tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, etc.)
– Experience in creating backlinks
– Strong analytical mindset and familiarity with performance metrics
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Competency with using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to produce reports and presentations
– Google Ads certification
