About the Project:
BRAIN is embarking on a high-priority project called BRAIN Infrastructure. The goal is to develop a scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure leveraging Google Cloud technologies. The project involves pulling APIs from different services using Cloud Functions and integrating the data into SQL, BigQuery, and Looker for further analysis and visualization. We are also open to exploring and incorporating additional Google Cloud technologies, such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), to enhance our infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
– Design and implement a scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud technologies
– Ensure the infrastructure can efficiently handle varying loads and data volumes
– Implement comprehensive security measures to protect data and applications
– Utilize strategies to manage and optimize cloud spending effectively
– Enhance the efficiency of cloud resources and services
– Build resilient systems that can withstand failures and ensure continuous operation
– Implement effective monitoring and logging mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve issues
– Integrate additional Google Cloud technologies as needed to optimize the infrastructure
Requirements:
– Strong background in Google Cloud platforms, with experience as a Google Cloud Architect or Data Engineer
– Expertise in building scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructures
– Proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, and Google Cloud Functions
– Experience with data integration, analysis, and visualization using tools like Looker
– Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), is a plus
– Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
– Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills
