Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Google Marketing Specialist with a strong background in SEO and PPC to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing our digital marketing efforts, ensuring our strategies align with our business objectives, and driving measurable results. The ideal candidate will not only manage our external SEO and PPC agencies but also contribute hands-on to the success of our campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Agency Management:
*Oversee the performance of external SEO and PPC agencies.
*Track performance metrics and ensure targets are met.
*Provide insights and feedback to agencies, leveraging a deep understanding of our products and business.
*Challenge and question agency strategies and tactics to ensure best practices.
*Present innovative ideas to improve campaign performance.
Hands-on Campaign Management:
*Assist agencies initially in executing SEO and PPC strategies.
*Gradually take over management of PPC campaigns, with the potential to replace external agencies.
*Develop and implement SEO strategies, potentially managing specialist freelancers for specific tasks like blogging and backlinking.
*Ensure all campaigns align with broader marketing and business goals.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
*Monitor and analyze campaign performance data to provide actionable insights.
*Generate regular performance reports and communicate the results to the team.
*Use data to make informed decisions and adjustments to strategies.
Strategic Planning:
*Stay updated with the latest trends and changes in the SEO and PPC landscape.
*Develop long-term strategies for SEO and PPC that drive growth and profitability.
*Identify new opportunities for enhancing online visibility and engagement.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
*Proven track record in managing successful SEO and PPC campaigns.
*Experience working with and managing external marketing agencies.
*Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies.
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
Technical Skills:
*Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs).
*Expertise in PPC platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads).
*Familiarity with keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO, and link-building strategies.
*Ability to use data visualization tools for reporting and presentations.
Soft Skills:
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Strong project management abilities with a keen eye for detail.
*Creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
