Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Government Contract Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on leveraging AI tools to efficiently source and manage government contracts. The successful candidate will work closely with the owner and be heavily involved in the entire contracting process, learning to use advanced AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and source government contracts that align with PRISM’s capabilities and strategic goals.
• Utilize AI tools to streamline the contract sourcing and management process.
• Prepare and submit contract proposals, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the owner and other team members to develop strategies for winning contracts.
• Monitor and track contract performance, ensuring all obligations are met.
• Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends and opportunities.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the government contracting division.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in government contracting, procurement, or a related field.
• Familiarity with AI tools and a willingness to learn and implement new technologies.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in using ChatGPT or similar AI tools is a plus.

Compensation:

• Starting at $3.50 per hour for the first 100 hours.
• Rate increases by $0.50 for every additional 100 hours worked.
• Upon reaching $5.00 per hour, the probationary period ends, and opportunities for leadership positions at higher rates become available.
