This position is crucial in identifying and pursuing government contract opportunities, primarily from , aligned with our NACIS code. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting proposals, ensuring compliance with all requirements, and actively contributing to our growth in the government contracting sector.
Responsibilities:
Opportunity Identification:
Proactively research and identify government contract opportunities listed on that align with our NACIS code and business capabilities.
Monitor and track relevant procurement notices and updates.
Proposal Development:
Prepare comprehensive and competitive proposals in response to government solicitations, ensuring adherence to all guidelines and requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information, technical details, and pricing data for proposals. Write, edit, and format proposal content to convey our qualifications, solutions, and value proposition effectively.
Submission and Compliance:
Manage the end-to-end proposal submission process, including timely submission through the appropriate channels.
Ensure compliance with all government contracting regulations, policies, and standards.
Maintain records and documentation related to proposal submissions.
Market Research:
Stay updated on industry trends, government procurement policies, and relevant market intelligence.
Analyze competition and identify strategies to enhance our competitiveness in securing contracts.
Relationship Building:
Foster positive relationships with contracting officers, agencies, and potential partners to enhance collaboration and networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Government Contracting, or a related field (preferred).
-Proven experience in government contracting, including a strong understanding of and NACIS codes.
-Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and government procurement processes.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and compliant proposals.
-Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
-Proficiency in using software tools and platforms for proposal development and submission.
-Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and driven to achieve targets.
-Knowledge of federal, state, and local government procurement practices (desired).
