We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced grant researcher that will be responsible for finding opportunities and creating and submitting proposals as well as managing other fundraising events with the interest in advancing the nonprofit organization’s purpose, vision and mission.
Job Overview: 
This position or role is responsible for identifying, researching, and evaluating potential grant opportunities that align with the organization’s mission and objectives. This role’s primary goal will be to conduct thorough research on available grants, eligibility criteria, and application requirements. The Grants Researcher plays a crucial role in supporting the organization’s growth and impact by identifying funding opportunities that contribute to its overall success.
Responsibilities:
Grant Research and Writing: 
extensive research to identify potential grant opportunities from various government agencies, foundations, corporations, and other funding sources.
updated with the latest trends and changes in grant funding to optimize opportunities for the organization.
the eligibility criteria and guidelines of potential grants to determine alignment with the organization’s objectives, programs, and initiatives. 
the feasibility of grant applications based on the organization’s capabilities and requirements.
with the Grants Writers and other team members to assist in the development of grant proposals. 
valuable insights and information gathered during the research phase to strengthen the proposals.
7. Proposal Writing, Research Writing and collaboration with the Grants Specialist
provide administrative support when needed.
Grant Application Preparation: 
and submit well-organized and compelling grant applications outline, adhering to each grant’s specific guidelines and deadlines. 
that all required documentation and supporting materials are included.
in monitoring and ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions of awarded grants. 
Relationship Building: 
and maintain relationships with grant-making organizations, program officers, and other relevant stakeholders to enhance the organization’s reputation and increase the likelihood of successful grant applications.
the Grant Writers in maintaining a comprehensive database of grant opportunities, applications, and outcomes. Keep accurate records of submission dates, results, and communications with funding agencies.
with the other team to measure and report the impact of grants on the organization’s goals and objectives. Utilize data and insights to improve future grant-seeking strategies.
Communication: 
with other organizations, corporations or entities to research on grants requirements, build rapport and bridge the relationship towards the grant writers and the organization, as a whole. 
to keep the grant writers updated on the requirements of grants and to assist during the grants applications especially on researching technical topics, areas and requirements needed. 
Continuous Learning: 
informed about changes in the funding landscape, grant application best practices, and emerging trends in grant research and writing. 
in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business administration, social sciences, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in grants research and grant writing for nonprofit organizations or similar entities.
Strong understanding of the grant-seeking process, funding sources, and grant compliance requirements.
Excellent research skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from various sources effectively.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in using grant databases, research tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrated passion for the organization’s mission and commitment to making a positive impact through grants acquisition.
