Job Description

4 Nineteen Education & Training is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Grant Writer to join our team. As a Grant Writer, you will play a crucial role in securing funding for our educational and training programs. The successful candidate will have excellent writing and research skills, a deep understanding of grant application processes, and the ability to effectively communicate our organization’s mission and impact to potential funders.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Grant Research and Identification:**
– Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities that align with 4 Nineteen Education & Training’s mission and programs.
– Stay informed about current trends and developments in education and training funding.

2. **Grant Proposal Development:**
– Prepare high-quality grant proposals, applications, and supporting documents in collaboration with program managers and other relevant stakeholders.
– Tailor proposals to meet the specific requirements and preferences of different grant-making organizations.

3. **Grant Management:**
– Manage the grant application process from start to finish, ensuring that all deadlines are met and requirements are fulfilled.
– Collaborate with finance and program teams to gather necessary information for grant reporting and compliance.

4. **Relationship Building:**
– Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential funders.
– Communicate effectively with grant-making organizations to clarify guidelines, provide additional information, and build rapport.

5. **Monitoring and Evaluation:**
– Work closely with program teams to collect data and information necessary for reporting on grant outcomes and impact.
– Assist in the development of metrics and evaluation strategies to measure program success.

**Qualifications:**

– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, etc.).
– Proven experience as a Grant Writer, with a successful track record of securing grants for education and training programs.
– Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into compelling grant proposals.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
– Familiarity with education and training sectors and understanding of related issues and challenges.
– Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software.
