Job Summary:
As a Grant Writer for [Your Nonprofit’s Name], you will play a critical role in helping us secure the funding necessary to fulfill our mission. Key Responsibilities:

Grant Research and Identification:
Research potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other sources that align with our mission and programs.
Identify and assess grant opportunities that offer the best fit for our organization.

Grant Proposal Development:

Write compelling and persuasive grant proposals, letters of intent, and grant applications that effectively communicate our organization’s mission, goals, and the impact of our work.
Collaborate with the team to gather necessary data and statistics to support grant applications.
Ensure that grant applications are submitted accurately and on time.
Mission Statement and Brand Development:

Collaborate with the team to refine and develop our organization’s mission statement and branding strategy to effectively convey our vision and values.
Create a cohesive and compelling narrative that reflects our commitment to building communities over food and art.

Value Proposition Development:
Work with the team to articulate a strong value proposition for potential funders and partners, highlighting the unique impact of our programs on Baltimore communities.
Craft messages and materials that clearly communicate the value and significance of our work.

Relationship Building:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with grant-making organizations, foundations, and potential donors.
Engage in ongoing communication to keep stakeholders informed about our progress and impact.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., English, Communications, Nonprofit Management).
Proven experience in grant writing and securing funding for nonprofit organizations.
Strong research, writing, and editing skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive proposals.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Knowledge of the Baltimore philanthropic community and grant-making landscape is a plus.
