Grant Writer & Business Planner

Seasoned Grant Researcher/Writer with expertise in For-Profit, Business, Federal, and State grants needed to
successfully craft persuasive proposals that not only met the rigorous standards of funding agencies but also effectively communicate the impact and feasibility of the project. Will perform research, draft and edit grant proposal, draft and update grant budget, submit grant proposal, track application status and follow up with points of contact at organizations as needed.

GOAL:
– Apply to and successfully win grants to build AI application and other aspects of the business.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
– For-profit grant writing, and writing winning grants
– Tracking applications, data organization and grant analysis
– Extensive knowledge of major grant databases
– Comprehensive understanding of various funding sources and excel in effectively communicating an organization’s mission and impact through compelling grant proposals
– Grants supporting AI applications, women, minorities, entrepreneurs, and career development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Create and submit winning grant proposals. Ensure that proposals are technically sound and aligned with the organization’s overarching goals.
– Perform market research to identify facts that support business case that our organization’s project will align with the impact and need the grantor is looking for.
– Identify Grant opportunities and RFP opportunities. Use existing grant database as well as your own experience, knowledge, resources and research to identify additional grant opportunities.
– Maintain, update and manage spreadsheet to track grant opportunities, applications, status, etc.
