Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Grants Coordinator to lead our grant acquisition and management efforts. The Grants Coordinator will be responsible for identifying potential grant opportunities, managing the grant writing process, submitting grant proposals, and overseeing the follow-up of submitted grants. This role is pivotal in securing the funding necessary to support and expand our STEAM programs.

Responsibilities:

Research and identify potential grant opportunities relevant to STEAM education and nonprofit youth initiatives.
Lead the development and writing of grant proposals, ensuring alignment with funder’s guidelines and mission.
Manage all aspects of the grant submission process, including compiling necessary documentation, completing applications, and adhering to deadlines.
Oversee the administration of successful grants, ensuring compliance with granted conditions and reporting requirements.
Maintain comprehensive records of submissions, awards, and correspondences.
Build and nurture relationships with potential and existing donors and funding organizations.
Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary information and updates for grant reporting.
Respond to any inquiries or feedback from funding bodies regarding grant applications or ongoing projects.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Education, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in grant writing and management, preferably within the education sector.
• Demonstrated success in securing grants and managing complex grant requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Deep understanding of the educational landscape and funding opportunities for nonprofit education initiatives.
