Graphic Design Artist

Sillylamps is a startup business in the ecommerce space that will be creating high-end customized/personalized light decor with silhouette artwork. We are in need of a graphic design artist that is familiar with making silhouette style graphics using black on transparent background. We are looking for artists that can showcase a unique style of art, as well as be able to recreate others ideas from scratch. Please note that we are in the startup phase of the business and cannot comfortably promise long term employment until the business is fully operational and profitable. We understand that applicants may be looking for a more permanent position in already established businesses and we hope that you are open to joining our team in its early infancy start-up phases. To help ease the doubts of working with a startup, please note that the owner of this startup has successfully marketed over $20 million USD in the e-commerce industry. We do not have any guarantees or promises on the success of this business, however with our experience, we do see a large potential for scaling rapidly and requiring multiple full-time artists.

– Any items of work from your portfolio that are silhouette style (with detail, not simple silhouettes) should be separated and shown first if possible.

– A basic silhouette would be solid black art without transparencies inside, this is not what we’re looking for.
– If you do not have silhouettes in your portfolio, that is okay, we are still open to reviewing your current artwork.
– Please include a list of your interests, especially what you enjoy to create with your artwork.
– Do you understand that because this company is in the startup phase, that this job may only be temporary for up to 3 months, but may turn into full time employment after business becomes operational and profitable?
