Graphic Design Assistant

I am looking for a full time graphic design assistant who has experience working with Adobe Creative suite, more specifically Illustrator and Photoshop. You will be confident preparing designs for both print and web.

As my design assistant you will perform the following duties:
– Prepare design files to be uploaded onto various online platforms (Training will be provided on these different platforms but you will also be expected to learn on your own)
– Work on custom orders for customers. These include: party invitations, RSVP cards, save the date cards and other similar type of work
– Maintain online shop, update images, update descriptions, update tags, uploading new designs and creating preview images
– Training and direction will be provided as we introduce you to each part of the job
– You will be part of a small team which consists of myself and one other designer

To be considered for the role you will be:
– Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with particular skills in Illustrator and Photoshop
– You must have access to Creative Cloud as we will be sharing design files all the time so we need to be using the same software version to avoid compatibility issues
– Self-motivated and a strong ability to manage your time effectively and to meet deadlines as there is a large workload and daily deadlines
– Able to work on own initiative and to learn on your own
– Highly organised with strong attention to detail
– It is essential that you have a high work ethic, drive and that you are flexible
– Good written English communication skills needed
– A good and reliable internet connection is required in order to perform your work
– Must have a good reliable computer
– This is a permanent position and I’m only looking for long term candidates
– This position would be best suited for people who enjoy working from home and on their own with minimal supervision
