Graphic Design Assistant will support the lead designer in creating Visual Branding
Identities, logos, illustrations, social media posts, graphics, and some light layouts of website
designs (Projects may be completed in any software of their choice. All designs must be added
to shared Figma Folders). This role involves working on a variety of digital projects with a large
focus on Visual Branding Identity designs.
Proficiency in Figma and Illustrator is essential. The position is ideal for someone who has
experience as an illustrator as well as a graphic designer and is dedicated to combining both
skills to create stunning Visual Branding identities.
ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES, EXPECTATIONS
1. Graphic Design Support
Responsibilities:
– Assist in creating digital designs for multiple branding identities.
– Collaborate with the design team to develop new concepts and designs.
– Ensure all designs are aligned with the company’s branding guidelines and marketing
strategies.
– Maintain and update image libraries and design assets.
– Review designs for errors before publishing.
SMART Expectations:
– SPECIFIC
– 1. Create 6 vectorized word marks and 6 vectorized logos per week for 2 different
visual identities with variation in style depending on the branding proposal’s brand
attributes. (Software irrelevant. What matters is 6 vectorized word marks and 6
vectorized logos).
– 2. Create 10 social media ad designs
– MEASURABLE
– Ensure that at least 100% of the graphics produced meet the brand guidelines without
needing revisions

– Collaborate with the Lead designer on new branding identity mood boarding and vision.

2. Illustration and Creative Posts
Responsibilities:
– Create original illustrations for use in digital marketing materials, social media, and
other platforms.
– Design icons and illustrations and other graphic elements used in visual identities.
– Ensure all illustrations and creative posts align with the overall brand aesthetic.
– Experiment with different styles and techniques to create distinctive identities.
SMART Expectations:
SPECIFIC:
– Produce at least 5-10 unique illustrations and 10 graphic elements per month using
any software of your choice.
MEASURABLE:
– Ensure that at least 100% of the graphics produced are in alignment with or in the
direction of a laid-out visual identity.

ATTAINABLE:
– Utilize illustration tools and other resources of your choice to explore and apply new
techniques to create high-quality illustrations.

– Balance workload and inform us of your tasks daily to help us assess workload.
