Job Overview:
As a Graphic Design Assistant at Cloth & Paper, you will play a key role in creating our 2025 Dated Insert (calendar) collection. You will be creating over 70 SKUs ranging from various layouts and multiple product sizes. Using a script, you will ensure dates, holidays, margins, fonts, and every other small detail is perfect.

Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the design team to use premade templates to update 2024 Dated products to 2025 products.
– Assist with the proofing and re-sizing of design assets, ensuring accuracy in color, composition, and brand consistency.
– Work with 3rd Party Vendors including our proofing agency and printer to ensure product files are received on time to meet final deadlines.
– Help maintain and organize the company’s digital asset library, ensuring all design files are properly labeled, archived, and easily accessible for future use.
– Contribute fresh ideas and creative input to brainstorming sessions, striving to enhance the overall quality and impact of our design solutions.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and social media, to ensure brand consistency and a cohesive visual identity across all platforms.
– Assist in creating and maintaining design templates and brand guidelines to streamline the design process and maintain a consistent brand image.

Qualifications:
– Understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
– Past experience with print design.
– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design software.
– Extreme attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
– Effective time management and multitasking abilities to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively articulate ideas and concepts.
– Previous experience creating tech packs, spec sheets, and/ or marketing materials is a plus.
