Graphic designer – 10 hours/week with potential for more

We are looking for a talented graphic designer to join our team to create eye-catching images, artwork and infographics that tell a story and simplify complex topics. This is an exciting part-time position where you can employ your creativity and design skills as an integral part of a small team providing health-related education.

The role is initially 10 hours per week, with the potential for the hours to increase.

Your role will include:

Creating infographic masterpieces from supplied text
Create imaginative artwork for podcasts, blog posts, YouTube thumbnails, email and social media marketing using photos and illustrated images.

Essential criteria

* Proven graphic design experience and skills (a portfolio showcasing your work is required).
* Expertise in design tools, particularly Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, along with other apps in the Adobe Creative Suite.
* Strong understanding of visual design principles, colour combinations, and typography.
* Ability to work independently, take direction, and meet deadlines.
* Exceptional creativity and willingness to think outside the box.
* Excellent written and oral English skills.
