My name is Thomas (Tommy) Ross and I’m looking for a graphic design artist to create art for an upcoming YouTube channel that I will be creating with my partner Ryan Sands. You will be responsible for fulfilling all artistic needs of the channel including logos, thumbnails, banners, on-screen displays, social media templates, Twitch emotes, Discord icons, and any other projects that arise. We will need thumbnails daily, along with many other projects, giving you several opportunities for work within this position.
To begin, you will be paid per project. Payments will be distributed at the end of each month based on how many projects you’ve completed for that month. All projects must be completed on time and meet our standards. You will not receive payment for projects that are late or that don’t meet our standards. If you need time off it must be scheduled at least a week in advance. If there are emergency situations, we will discuss them accordingly.
As the channel grows we will be looking to expand, giving us opportunities to promote our team members. This means that if you do a good job and accomplish your tasks, you will have the ability to receive promotions in the future that will be accompanied by an increase in pay.
Things that you need:
– A portfolio with examples of your design work
– A secure internet connection
– Good communication skills
– Excellent English, both writing and speaking
– The ability to create quality designs with a fast turnaround time
Benefits:
– Flexible Work Schedule (It doesn’t matter when you do the work as long as the projects are completed and turned in by the required due date)
– Flexible Time Off If Requested (1 Week in Advance)
– Monthly Payments
– Promotion Opportunities
To ensure that you are the right fit for the job, we’d like for you to make us an example design to showcase your skills. Please make a thumbnail for this video: /drive/folders/1FfxdHojL4B92Q_Bjz2vRZOdJAnZ5QJfz?usp=share_link
The thumbnail should:
– Entice people to click on the video
– Represent what the video is about without giving away anything important
– Be the correct dimensions for YouTube thumbnails
The style should fit the theme of the channel and of the video. When people look at it, it should be unique enough that anyone can tell that it’s our video. Be creative, add your personal touch, and make a thumbnail that you’d click on if you saw it.
Please send the finished thumbnail to .
To help me find the best candidates for the job, please answer the following questions below in your application. If you fail to answer these questions, your application will not be reviewed:
1) How many years have you been doing graphic design?
2) Please add a link to your portfolio for review (Logo, banner, and thumbnail examples are a plus!)
3) Do you have any experience creating art for a YouTube channel? If so, please give us some examples of similar work.
4) What is your Discord username? (Don’t forget the four numbers at the end of it)
